Following the rebranding and design of the new website, we needed to help Squirro communicate its new look and feel to its customers via social media. The brand’s website had just been launched and we needed to make sure that Squirro’s existing audience would still recognise the brand, whilst also expanding the audience further.


Guided by the new brand book, created by Appetite Creative, we created social media content in close collaboration with Squirro’s marketing team for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Besides coming up with content ideas and captions, we also created images, GIFs and videos for the posts and made sure that the feed would always be consistent within itself, but also with the new look and feel of the website. We created social media content for the brand with the Squirrel character for the first 6 months after the website launch. Afterwards, we provided the Squirro team with the existing imagery and a handover document, in order to facilitate the brand's return to self-managing the Squirro social media channels.


Throughout these six months, we saw a lot of growth on Squirro’s social media channels. Especially LinkedIn, as the best channel for B2B businesses currently, increased tremendously in all regards. Followers grew on LinkedIn (29.8%) and Instagram (22.6%), accompanied by a post-engagement increase of 76.9% on LinkedIn. Post impressions on LinkedIn increased by 47% while page clicks increased by almost 200%. Additionally, page clicks increased on Twitter (145%) and Facebook (30.1%).
